The natural neuromodulatory extract from the Klamath microalgae

To rebalance the nervous system and mood

What is Klamin

Klamin® Nutrigea is a patented extract from the Klamath microalgae, standardized to phenylethylamine (PEA), with a concentration approximately five times higher than that of whole algae. 1

Extraction is achieved by mechanically opening the microalgal cells and extracting them in water, followed by an ultrafiltration process, without the use of chemical solvents 2

The Klamin extract

The Klamath microalgae contains approximately 0.3-0.5% PEA, while the extract concentrates it to approximately 1.5%. The remainder consists of the ultrafiltered water-soluble fraction of the Klamath microalgae 1

Klamin® also concentrates a characteristic series of compounds naturally present in the microalgae, including algal microsporins (MAAs) and AFA-phytochromes, studied for their interaction with the MAO-B enzyme, involved in the degradation processes of phenylethylamine, resulting in greater biological persistence of PEA over time 3

The fact that Klamin® is a concentrated extract, rather than an isolated compound, allows for the maintenance of a complex nutritional matrix, typical of the original microalgae.

Properties

Phenylethylamine (PEA) is a widely studied endogenous compound in neuroscience, involved in neurotransmitter regulation mechanisms 4

Several scientific studies have analyzed the Klamin® extract in experimental models, highlighting consistent and reproducible results of interest in research on the neuroendocrine system and cognitive processes 5, 6, 7, Its action is adaptogenic and regulatory, without forcing or sedating..

In preclinical studies, the extract has been associated with changes in biological parameters related to neuronal function, including markers involved in memory and learning processes 8, 9

Klamin® Nutrigea is not just a mood supplement: it contains a neuromodulator with documented effects on cognitive function, mental resilience, and neuronal regeneration, in total harmony with the body’s mechanisms.
