OUR INGREDIENTS

PROBIOTICS, ENZYMES AND MICROALGAE

LACTOBACILLUS
ACIDOPHILUS DDS-1®

One of the most studied strains in the world, known for its effectiveness in balancing the intestinal flora and supporting the immune system

BIFIDOBACTERIUM
BIFIDUM

Naturally present in the human intestine, it improves the assimilation of nutrients, reduces inflammation and promotes regularity

LACTOBACILLUS
BULGARICUS

Traditionally used in the fermentation of yogurt, it contributes to the balance of intestinal flora and has soothing effects on the mucosa.

LACTOBACILLUS
RAMNOSUS

It helps create an ecosystem where the other three strains can thrive.Aiuta a creare un ecosistema dove gli altri tre ceppi possono proliferare

Probiotics

A healthy microbiota is the basis of everything

Probiotics are bacteria that contribute to the balance of our intestines, which are involved in digestive processes and the general well-being of the body. 1

A balanced microbiota is now recognized as an important factor for intestinal physiology and the basis of various systemic problems. 1

Today, stress, industrial food, and drugs put this balance to the test.

This is why we select specific probiotic strains in our supplements, characterized by stability and resistance to the gastric environment and capable of arriving alive and active in the intestine 2,3

Enzymes

To support digestion and optimal nutrient absorption

Digestive enzymes are essential for converting nutrients into available energy. With age, stress, or an unbalanced diet, the body may produce less of them, resulting in bloating, postprandial fatigue (after meals), and nutrient malabsorption. 1

For this reason we integrate a complete blend of natural and innovative enzymes, designed to act along the entire digestive chain:

  • A balanced mix of amylase, protease, and lipase supports the digestion of carbohydrates, proteins, and fats.
  • Specific enzymes such as lactase or alpha-galactosidase are used to aid digestion in cases of lactose intolerance (lactose, legumes). 2
  • Advanced components such as DPP-IV peptidase are used to digest complex proteins (including gluten).

Added to these are new generation plant enzymes, such as Serrazimes®, Nattosymes® and Cerecalases®, which support the digestion of fibre and cereals and are selected for their use in advanced digestive formulations. 3,4

The result is complete digestive support, a more efficient nutritional intake and a feeling of lightness that is reflected throughout the body.

Microalgae

In Nutrigea products we also use other selected algae and microalgae, which complement Klamath with complementary nutritional characteristics.

DUNALIELLA SALINA

It grows in extreme saline environments and produces pigments, specifically natural carotenoids. It is very rich in beta-carotene, and subsequently in vitamin A, which is known for its immune-boosting properties and its ability to support skin and vision. 1
