Natural-source vitamin B12, Klamin® from Klamath microalgae, betaine, zinc, vitamin B6 and folate (vitamin B9) from plant, algal and fungal sources: nutrients involved in energy metabolism and in the normal functioning of the nervous system and immune system, helping to reduce tiredness and fatigue caused by a deficiency of B vitamins.
Format: Case - Blister pack of 30 tablets
Directions for use: Take 1-2 tablets a day, with meals.

B 12 -Natural® is a vitamin B12 supplement in the form of biologically active coenzymes – extracted from the marine algae Porphyra umbilicalis , one of the few natural sources of biologically active vitamin B12 documented in literature [1-2] .
These coenzymes are readily available , as they provide vitamin B12 in coenzyme forms (methyl- and adenosylcobalamin), which are already biologically active [3].
Vitamin B12 functions as an essential cofactor in key processes of cellular metabolism, including the conversion of methylmalonyl-CoA to succinyl-CoA and the methionine cycle. These mechanisms are central to energy production and cellular methylation processes [4].
Vitamin B12 (cobalamin) contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism , normal functioning of the nervous system , normal functioning of the immune system , normal red blood cell formation , normal cell division , and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue . It also contributes to normal homocysteine metabolism [5-6].
Unlike single-component supplements, B 12 -Natural® is conceived as a synergy of nutrients: vitamin B12 is inserted into an algal and vegetal matrix which provides the key cofactors of its metabolism – betaine , vitamin B6 , folates – useful for the control of homocysteine [7-8].
Klamin® , a patented extract from Klamath algae ( EU Patent No. 2046354 ), provides β-phenylethylamine (PEA) and natural antioxidants. Experimental studies have further investigated the antioxidant action of Klamin®, highlighting a protective effect against oxidative stress in a neuronal cellular model[9] . <A clinical study on vegan subjects demonstrated that vitamin B12 from Klamath algae contributed to the reduction of homocysteine levels [10].
The fermentative enzyme complexes present in the formula (Protexil® SP750 and EnzyBlend®) have been studied to support the digestion of nutrients [11].
B12-Natural® complex acts synergistically on multiple physiological dimensions: energy metabolism, neurofunctional balance, immune function and cellular methylation processes.
The natural formula is also suitable for those following a vegan and vegetarian diet.
The natural ingredients of the B12-Natural® Nutrigea supplement can be useful as:
